IELTS Exam
One of the principal challenges when coming to the United Kingdom is getting the IELTS certification from the British Council.
RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon) requires a minimum mark to become a member.
There are IELTS tests and examinations every month which can be attended in various points of Spain or other countries.
Registering with the RCVS
Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS) is the only veterinary college in the UK. Its function is to control and regulate veterinary activity. It’s compulsory to become a member of RCVS to be able to exercise the veterinary profession in all British territory, as stated in the Veterinary Surgeon Act 1966.
After Brexit, it became a requisite to present a proof of the candidate’s English level to join RCVS.
Not all Spanish Universities are accredited or recognized by RCVS.

UK Working VISA
To get a Visa for a job in the UK, a company must sponsor the employee, which facilitates personal information to the government and what type of job will be performed. With this certificate a personal number will be assigned to process the visa.
Accredited Universities
After Brexit, RCVS based its criteria on EAEVE (European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education) to recognize or accredit the European faculties.
This organization provides periodic evaluations of the university or faculties; hence some requirements must be met. Universities that don’t meet these established requirements, for various reasons, won’t obtain this recognized qualification and will not be accredited for RCVS.

TESTIMONIALS
“As a recent Veterinary graduate, with no experience and no clear idea of what to do, it was very difficult for me to be given an opportunity in Spain and to be guaranteed acceptable conditions. It is true that, despite the advantages of being a veterinarian in the United Kingdom, it is dizzying to move to another country with all that this entails. But having people who have been in the same situation as you and who facilitate this transition, both bureaucratically and personally, makes everything much more bearable. Recruiting Minds has been 100% involved in my case, helping me adapt and solving any problem that might arise. Right now I am working and training as a veterinarian, under conditions that allow me to enjoy other things beyond work, for which I will always be grateful to Jaime, Gonzalo and David for the opportunity they have given me and all the help they have given us. offer.”

“As veterinary students we all know the catastrophic future of work awaits those of us who want to dedicate ourselves to the clinic. When I found out about Recruiting Minds and they told me about the conditions I could have if I came to England, I didn't hesitate to join their project. I'm not going to lie, when I thought about going to another country, of course I felt afraid. I was a recent graduate without any work experience or financial support. However, David, Gonzalo and Jaime have made the process much easier, faster and safer than I could have imagined. Before I knew it, I was taking the plane with an indefinite contract and wage and hour conditions that no veterinarian I know of in Spain has. Arriving here the reception has been fantastic. Gonzalo, David and Jaime have accompanied me in my process of adapting to work and also to my routine. The relationship with them is super familiar and close. The truth is that Recruiting Minds has given me a golden opportunity on a platter and I am very grateful to them.”

“Starting a new job is always scary, even more so if you're doing it for the first time and outside your country as in my case, but without a doubt, David, Jaime and Gonzalo have made the experience much more bearable. This team has not only helped me get a job in the UK, but they continue to teach me every day and help me grow professionally. So, if you are a vet, you like the clinic and you dream of a work-life balance, come to the UK... and if you want the process to be easy and you want to have a support network when you arrive, do it! through Recruiting Minds!”
