Veterinary Centers

We are a specialised veterinarian recruitment company focused on attracting Spanish veterinarians, for now. We would be in charge of providing all the resources and support needed to make sure all the candidates meet all the requirements to work in the UK.

The company has been established by 3 Spanish veterinarians with a wide range of working experience in clinics for small animals in the UK. We know the shortage of a veterinary workforce in Britain, especially after Brexit; This is the reason why we’ve focused our company on providing guidance and preparing candidates to face the current barriers to exercise the veterinary profession in the UK.

We believe that one of the biggest barriers stopping the arrival of a Spanish veterinarian workforce is the language and the high marks needed to be obtained by the candidate, minimum of 7 on IELTS exam and B or C+ via Occupational English Test (OET), due to this we are focusing our efforts to make this an easier and more attractive process for the candidates to give them the motivation and help to pass the exam.

Mostly all our candidates are young veterinarians, completing their last year of university; less often we also receive applications from veterinarians with an extensive working experience.

Our criteria is to shortlist the veterinarians with a high level of English, so they can start work as soon as possible or even start straight away.

All candidates have been informed of the conditions with the companies to be hired by such as contractual agreement, permanency within the company… as well as we ask the employer for some minimum requirements to be offered to the candidates to ensure employee and employer’s satisfaction.

From our point of view/experience, candidates willing to go to work in other countries, the UK in this case, usually are young professionals, hence a big proportion of candidates will have a lower working experience or will be new graduates without experience, this is due to the most experienced veterinarian candidates being more settled and sceptical to such a big change and the challenges it brings with it to live and work in a foreign country.

Among the overall selected/available candidates you’ll find motivated professionals, who have put a great deal of effort in passing the language test and deciding to work abroad. Having young or inexperienced candidates gives you the facility to train and mould your needs, protocols and standards, which will help them to adapt to your ways of working and the clinics.

All of this is enhanced by a brilliant Spanish character, which is well known for its hard working community and exceptional customer service, and this can be endorsed by many veterinarian companies that have previously hired Spanish staff.
