The veterinary profession in England is considered as a qualified job, whereby it is relatively easy to get a Visa following the steps detailed in the UK government website https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
To get a Visa for a job in the UK, a company must sponsor the employee, which facilitates personal information to the government and what type of job will be performed. With this certificate a personal number will be assigned to process the visa. For the veterinary profession the Working Visa fee to pay amounts to a bit less than £2,000 for the whole process.
Minimum salary to obtain the UK Working Visa is stipulated on the “Occupational Code”, for the case of veterinary profession this code is 2216, with a minimum salary of £32,500 per annum or £16.30 per hour.
You need an average of 7 on the IELTS exam to be able to practise the veterinary profession within the UK, if you didn’t register with the RCVS before Brexit. This will also be a requirement to process the registration with the Veterinary College (RCVS).
